Bodegas Basilio Izquierdo was born in 2007 as a personal project. This small family winery was built on the experience of an enologist who has devoted his entire life to the knowledge and interpretation of the vineyard of Rioja. His wine represents the most singular, current and modern expression of a Rioja that was always there.
Grape selection from the three subareas of the Denominación de Origen Calificada (D.O.Ca.) and thorough production, made by one of the greatest masters in La Rioja enology, are the mainstays that hold up these wines, which are branded with the creator’s initial: B, for Basilio.
